Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certificate Program
The Post-Master's Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certificate Program introduces students to the body of knowledge and skills necessary to practice as a nurse practitioner. Tailored for M.S.N.-prepared nurses looking for an on-line curriculum, the AGPCNP Certificate program gives students access to interdisciplinary faculty members from the internationally renowned GW School of Nursing.
The coursework includes didactic and clinical experiences that focus on the primary care needs of patients, families, and communities. Program content includes advanced pathophysiology, pharmacology, advanced health assessment and diagnostic reasoning, and diagnosis and management of common primary care health concerns. It provides the theoretical and practical foundations for nurses to expand their scope of practice.
For Master's-prepared nurses, the AGPCNP Certificate program offers a unique and challenging educational experience.
