Know Before You Go...
As we gear up to welcome new and returning students to GW Nursing on our Virginia Science and Technology Campus (VSTC), even in a limited capacity, we want to make sure you have the information you need before you get here. Below are details regarding COVID-19 testing protocol, how to navigate Innovation Hall, and what safety precautions we're taking as a community to ensure a healthy spring semester.
GWU Indoor Mask Mandate
Effective Saturday, July 31, 2021, until further notice, GW is reinstating its indoor mask requirement in university-owned or -operated facilities for all individuals regardless of vaccination status. This guidance is consistent with the District’s decision to again require that people wear masks in indoor public settings beginning July 31. D.C. takes this action based not only on guidance from the CDC but also as a precaution as COVID rates have increased locally.
For a comprehensive list of requirements, policies and guidance including plans for Didactic, Lab and Clinical please refer to the For Students: Fall 2021 Plan page.
Please note the GW Nursing Fall 2021 webpage is meant to keep you up-to-date on plans and policies pertaining specifically to GW Nursing. For university-wide information and guidance please refer to the Onward GW website.
GW students, staff, and faculty who have been approved for on-site access to campus facilities can access this portal for support in troubleshooting and assistance related to Campus GWorld Access, COVID-19 Testing, COVID-19 Symptom Surveys, Access Badge Stat, Keeping GW Healthy Training and Notification of Upcoming Travel.
As we monitor the rollout of COVID-19 vaccinations, we want to keep clinical faculty updated on availability and how to register.
