Johnson Lab Renovation Supports Improved Collaboration for Students, Faculty

GW Nursing reopened the renovated skills and simulation laboratory in January, complete with 2,500 additional square feet of usable space.

For the fifth straight year, GW Nursing’s Master of Science in Nursing program landed in the top 10 of U.S. News & World Report’s rankings for Best Online Master’s in Nursing Programs, tying at number eight. The program also ranked third for Best Online Master's in Nursing Programs for veterans, second for nursing administration, and fifth for family nurse practitioner.

Diana Mason Receives Two Leadership Awards

GW Nursing Senior Policy Service Professor Diana J. Mason, Ph.D., RN, FAAN, received Sigma Theta Tau international's Archon Award for her leadership in nursing and health care, and Villanova University's M. Louise Fitzpatrick Transformational Leadership Award. Affiliated with GW Nursing’s Center for Health Policy and Media Engagement, Dr. Mason is an advocate for empowering nurses with the tools they need to share their knowledge and perspective with the public through media.
