SON Hosts Virginia Simulation Conference

The George Washington School of Nursing hosted the Virginia State Simulation Alliance conference, attended by nearly 100 healthcare professionals from across the commonwealth.  The conference included interprofessional workshops, group sessions, and panels to study how simulation can improve healthcare delivery.  The School of Nursing was selected to host this conference because of the school's premier Skills and Simulation Laboratory at the Virginia Science and Technology Campus.  This conference showcased GW’s innovative nursing learning program and sophisticated educational facilities, the university’s role as a leader in education, and presence and contributions in Virginia.
