GW team aims to better prepare NPs to care for underserved communities

A team of GW faculty led by Professor Christine Pintz, with funding from a four-year, $2.8 million Health Resources & Services Administration grant, will be educating nurse practitioner (NP) students to better care for underserved communities in both rural and urban areas.

School launches simulation MOOC

Today, GW Nursing launched a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) aimed at preparing health care professionals to effectively incorporate health care simulation into their teaching. The MOOC follows the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning standards of best practice.
