Simulation Initiatives

Overview of the GW Nursing Simulation Initiatives from GW School of Nursing on Vimeo.

In response to the tremendous needs of health care organizations, academic institutions and simulation professionals to assess and enhance their simulation center operations, educate instructors, extend hospital-based simulation programs and develop simulation operations leaders, we offer a curated portfolio of simulation programs and consulting services. These programs and services are offered through The GW Nursing Simulation Initiatives and were created by Dr. Pamela Jeffries, who developed the NLN/Jeffries Simulation Theory.

Purpose

  1. Cultivate evidenced-based simulation programs
  2. Educate instructors
  3. Advance future simulation leaders
  4. Improve participant, patient and system outcomes
