Patsy Deyo is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at George Washington University (GW). She earned her PhD in Translational Health Science from GW, where her dissertation focused on developing a theory of how patient engagement occurs through telehealth. She also holds an MSN in Nursing Leadership and Management, a BSN, and a BA in Management. Dr. Deyo is committed to advancing nursing education and practice through innovative assessment and evaluation methods, ensuring high standards of academic teaching and clinical excellence. She has taught health policy, nursing leadership, and health informatics. Her research interests include patient engagement, telehealth, and education research related to assessment and evaluation.
