Graduate Certificate: Health Policy and Media Engagement

This 15-credit graduate certificate opportunity is available online for health-related professionals from various disciplines, including nursing, public health, medicine, law, business, public administration and more.

Who Should Apply

If you’re already working as a nurse, have a master’s in nursing and are interested in incorporating evidence-based practice, organizational interdisciplinary concepts, policy and research into clinical practice and leadership, look no further than this certificate option. This program option is also available as a DNP.

Virtual New Student Orientation

The Virtual New Student Orientation is designed to provide knowledge and tools necessary to succeed at GW Nursing. You will become familiar with academic resources, program requirements, course registration, online technology and student expectations. You will also connect with fellow students, faculty members and advisers.

Technology Requirements

Beginning fall 2018, each student admitted to the Certificate program is expected to own and have ready access to a laptop or tablet with basic productivity software for classroom use. View Policy.
