Dr. Jennifer M. Walsh, DNP, CPNP-PC, CNE, Assistant Professor, is a practicing Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Educator with over 28 years of experience. She holds a DNP from George Washington University and an MSN from The Catholic University of America, with additional training in pediatric mental health care. Dr. Walsh is board-certified by the PNCB and NLN and actively involved in numerous professional organizations, including her role as President-Elect of the Virginia National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP). A 2019 DAISY Faculty Award recipient and 2024 NurseTRUST Fellow, she focuses on improving pediatric outcomes through teaching, scholarship, advocacy, and leadership. Dr Walsh holds positions on numerous committees in the School of Nursing, GW University, and local and national appointments in NAPNAP. Additionally, she is the Academic Coach for the ABSN program.
