Christine Seaton is a clinical assistant professor of nursing in the Acute and Chronic Care faculty community. She teaches and coordinates advanced medical-surgical skills, simulation and online patient safety and quality courses in the bachelor of science in nursing program. Her clinical expertise is in adult critical care, and she holds certification in nursing education and healthcare simulation education. She is an active member of the Virginia State Simulation Alliance, where she serves on the Board of Directors as conference planning director. She is currently pursuing doctoral studies in patient safety and healthcare quality.
