Blood Drive 2023
The GW Nursing Office of Community Engagement has partnered with the GW School of Medicine & Health Sciences Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medicine Program and Inova Blood Donor Services to host a Blood Drive on March 2 from 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. The Blood Drive will take place at GW’s Innovation Hall in room 305 on the Virginia Science and Technology Campus in Ashburn and will be open to the entire GW Community as well as the general public.
Photo ID and face masks required. Allow one hour for donation.
Book Your Appointment
To make an appointment to donate blood, please follow these instructions:
- Find a blood drive.
Click the “register now” button. This will take you to a list of available appointments at Innovation Hall on March 2. - Select a time.
To select the time that works best for you, click on “Schedule”. - To complete the process, you must log in.
Returning/Previous Donors:
If you have donated with Inova before, even if you have never logged into the online scheduling system, you already have a Donor ID. To find your Donor ID go to the Forgot Donor ID page and follow the prompts.
First Time Donors:
If this will be your first time donating with Inova, please look for the link that says, Not yet an Inova Blood Services donor? Make an appointment now. You will need to fill out a short form that asks for basic information the blood bank will need. - The process is complete and your appointment is made.
Shortly, you will receive an email confirming your appointment.
