2019 Simulation Conference Focused on Simulation in NP Education

GW Nursing’s second annual Simulation Conference will focus on practice and include a panel of experts who will discuss the state of nurse practitioner (NP) education, use of simulation in nurse residency programs and the development of an NP simulation curriculum.

School of Nursing Celebrates Diversity

February 26, 2019

Members of the GW Nursing community, university leaders and local leaders gathered on Monday, February 25 in Innovation Hall at VSTC to formally recognize the school's Health Professions Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) award from INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine. Dean Pamela Jeffries unveiled the school's message of diversity and inclusion, and BSN students presented posters about the social determinants of health.
