Visiting students from Yonsei University, Wonju School of Medicine

Recently, the GW School of Nursing and its Community and Global Initiatives received three nursing students from Yonsei University, Wonju School of Medicine for a two week academic/cultural immersion experience. These students experienced all GW School of Nursing has to offer including simulation, lectures, GW Hospital observation and mentoring from nursing leaders. They also gave a presentation on nursing in Korea, and the differences between the United States and Korean health care system. We wish them safe travels home and look forward to remaining in contact as friends of GW School of Nursing.

International Volunteer / Information Websites

We often get asked about other non-GW international programs and organizations who provide relief work and healthcare outreach. If you're interested in international medicine and healthcare, CGI has compiled a list of online resources including NGOs, government agencies and academic institutions. Note that this list is not comprehensive but it is a great way to gain knowledge, get involved, and educate yourself.
