In advance of Ageism Awareness Day on Oct. 7, Associate Professor Melissa Batchelor, Ph.D., RN-BC, FNP-BC, FGSA, FAAN, joined ABC7's Good Morning Washington to discuss the impact of the show "The Golden Bachelor" on the way people view dating after age 60 and on fighting ageism. Dr. Batchelor is also the director of the GW Center for Aging, Health and Humanities, which concluded its third annual Age-Friendly Ecosystem Summit last week.
