The GW School of Nursing will relocate its Foggy Bottom offices on June 25, 2026. This transition reflects a fiduciary decision to consolidate operations within existing university-owned facilities while maintaining continuity of work and services.
Effective with the move out of 1919 Pennsylvania Avenue, the Dean and Interim Associate Dean for Research and the PhD Program will be located in Lisner Hall (2023 G St NW), Suite 340, and the research faculty and staff will transition to the GW University Honors Program building at 714 21st St NW (2nd and 3rd floors).
The relocation is not expected to impact student experience, as the 1919 Pennsylvania Avenue location has had limited use for student-facing activities. The new locations offer access to small meeting spaces, with larger conference capacity available through shared university resources. Additionally, positioning faculty and staff closer to the campus core will enhance opportunities for engagement and collaboration across the university community.
Further logistical updates will be communicated as needed in advance of the move.
