Interactive Forum: Medical Rights and the Law
This forum will highlight the rights of both patients and healthcare providers with respect to the actions of Congress and the Supreme Court. A zoom link will be provided upon registration.
About the speaker
Samuel Chen is a television host and award-winning political strategist. He currently hosts the news journal talk show Face the Issues and is the author of Thirteen Minutes: Winning, Losing, and Living as Taught by the 2016 Election.
Samuel has spent over a decade with a front-row seat to American democracy. He is the founder and principal director of The Liddell Group, a boutique political, public policy, and communications strategy firm, and has served in a variety of roles, advising presidential candidates, governors, members of Congress, and state and local officials. He previously served as an aide in both the United States Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives.
Outside of media and politics, Samuel serves as the Assistant Professor of Political Science at Northampton Community College, where he also directs the George S. McElwee Forum for Excellence in Public Service and serves on the Campus Democratic Engagement Coalition for the Center for Civic and Community Engagement.
