Jennifer is a full-time Dedicated Simulation Educator at The George Washington University School of Nursing. In this role, she applies her expertise in teaching pedagogy and simulation best practices to design and facilitate simulation-based learning experiences that enhance clinical judgment, skill development, and student success. She is a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) and Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE), credentials that reflect her commitment to advancing excellence in nursing education. 

Prior to joining GW, Jennifer served as Simulation Coordinator at The Catholic University of America, where she developed and implemented simulation curricula across undergraduate nursing programs. Her professional background also includes clinical experience in a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), primary care, school nursing, and nursing education. 

Currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Curriculum & Instruction with a specialization in Educational Technology at the University of Florida, Jennifer focuses her scholarship on innovative approaches to teaching and learning in nursing education. She is an active member of the National League for Nursing (NLN), Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH), International Nursing Association of Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL), and Sigma Theta Tau. 

Jennifer is deeply committed to supporting nursing students both academically and personally. She strives to create safe, engaging environments where students can develop resilience, confidence, and the critical thinking skills needed to provide compassionate, high-quality care.


  • Lead Simulation Educator for NURS 3124 Adult and Geriatric Nursing I 
  • Facilitate prebriefing, debriefing, and implementation of nursing simulation-based education scenarios for undergraduate nursing programs 
  • Ensure Healthcare Simulation Standards of Best Practice are maintained through simulation teaching pedagogy and simulation based-practice utilizing manikin, standardized patient and virtual reality-based simulation immersive experiences 
  • Coordinate congruency between classroom and simulation courses 
  • Evaluate peers, students, and scenarios for quality improvement 
  • Collaborate with simulation team to promote the simulation center, prepare grant reports, request funding, and update policies and procedures
