Miro Liwosz serves as Assistant Dean of Online Learning and Instructional Technology at the School of Nursing, George Washington University. In this role, he provides strategic leadership in curriculum development, implementation, accreditation compliance, and academic technology management for online and blended programs. He oversees instructional design, instructional technology, multimedia, and eLearning operations, including managing a state-of-the-art green screen video production suite.

With over 18 years of progressive experience in higher education, distance learning, and educational technology, Miro has evolved into a skilled leader and mentor. He began his career supporting students and faculty in traditional classrooms, working on educational technology projects, and creating programs to enhance student learning experiences. Transitioning into distance learning, he managed learning management systems, facilitated the shift from face-to-face to online formats, and developed new online offerings. His responsibilities expanded to include designing and managing a cutting-edge Media Suite and Lecture Auditorium, featuring a green screen studio, multimedia lab, web design services, and course development facilities.

In addition to his administrative roles, Miro has enjoyed teaching as an adjunct professor for over eight years, delivering courses in computer science, programming, multimedia, graphic design, and web design. This teaching experience has provided valuable insights into the needs of both faculty and students, enriching his perspective as a leader in educational technology.

Driven by a passion for online learning and technology, Miro brings a unique ability to develop and execute strategies that bridge academic and technological fields. Inspired by transformative ideas, disruptive technologies, and a commitment to excellence, he continuously strives to improve outcomes for learners and advance institutional success.
