Accreditation
The baccalaureate degree program in nursing, master’s degree program in nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice program and post-graduate APRN certificate program at the George Washington University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org).
The accreditation process ensures that the university provides a high-quality education. When going through this process, accreditors evaluate facilities, staff, faculty, course requirements and educational standards to assess an institution’s capability to provide students with an education that helps them excel in the workforce.
The BSN program at GW Nursing is approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing, and the APRN programs are approved by the DC Board of Nursing.
