Health Workforce Institute

GW Nursing's Professor Ashley Darcy-Mahoney and Research Instructor Edward Salsberg serve on the GW Health Workforce Institute's advisory committee. Associate Professor Asefeh Faraz Covelli and Associate Dean for Health Policy and Population Science Y. Tony Yang serve as affiliated faculty. 

The Institute's mission is to strengthen health workforce policies nationally and globally. Policies that address health workforce quality, supply, distribution, and organization are key to improving access to high-quality and affordable health care.
