Transferring Credits
Students may be able to transfer credits from previous coursework at accredited institutions, but there are different types of credit transfers available. In most cases, you should speak with an admissions counselor to assess your individual situation at [email protected] or 571-553-0138.
Undergraduate Students: Nursing courses completed at other academic institutions are not eligible for transfer into the GW Nursing program of study.
Graduate Students: Up to 6 credits of coursework may be accepted as transfer credit for graduate students, provided the coursework was completed within the past five years at an accredited college or university with a minimum grade of B. Additional transfer credit may be approved upon petition to the associate dean for the program. GW Nursing reserves the right to determine course equivalency and degree applicability. Up to 9 graduate credits taken in the GW Nursing BSN program may be applied to the MSN/DNP programs.
Be sure to reference the "transfer credit" regulation in the University Bulletin for the School of Nursing.
