Kathleen Griffith, professor (tenured), focuses on symptom management related to cancer and its treatment. Her program of research addresses symptom management using non-pharmacologic interventions for cancer and other chronic illnesses, and management of chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy.  She has received funding from the National Institutes of Health, the American Cancer Society, and the Oncology Nursing Society.
