Carol F. Braungart is an assistant professor and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program director. Previously, she was the graduate program director at The Sage Colleges in Troy, NY where she oversaw curriculum for the FNP, Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner programs as well as the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner post-master’s certificate. She holds a bachelor of science in nursing from St. Anselm College, a master of science degree as a clinical nurse specialist from Sage Graduate School and a DNP from GW Nursing. Dr. Braungart is a board certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner and has been part-time faculty for GW Nursing since 2012. She currently practices as a nurse practitioner for Capital Care Medical Group.
