GW Nursing Blood Drive

The GW Nursing Office of Community Engagement has partnered with the GW Student Nurses Association and Inova Blood Donor Services to host a Blood Drive on March 31 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. The Blood Drive will be hosted at GW’s Enterprise Hall on Knoll Square in Ashburn and will be open to the entire GW community.

Volunteers

Please follow this link to sign up as a volunteer as an On-Site Greeter. The shifts are in one-hour time slots.

Appointments

To make an appointment to donate blood, please follow these instructions:

1. Find a blood drive. 
   Using your smartphone, take a picture of the QR code above. If you are having problems finding our blood drive enter 8695 as the sponsor code.
2. Select a date. 
   Click on 3/31/22 as the date of your appointment.
3. Select a time. 
   To select the time that works best for you, click on "Schedule".
4. To complete the process you must log in.
   If you have donated with Inova before, even if you have never logged into our online scheduling system, you already have a Donor ID.
   To find your Donor ID click on the link that says Donor ID or click I forgot my Donor ID.
   If this will be your first time donating with Inova, please look for the link that says, Not yet an Inova Blood Services donor? Make an appointment now. You will need to fill out a short form that asks for basic information the blood bank will need.
5. The process is complete and your appointment is made. Shortly, you will receive an email confirming your appointment.
