Pinning Ceremony

Pinning Ceremony: Cohort 32

Tuesday, August 20  |  10:00 a.m. - Noon ET  |  Jack Morton Auditorium

The Pinning Ceremony welcomes our GW Nursing graduates into the profession of nursing. Professors and mentors present each new nurse with ceremonial pins, representing their graduation from The George Washington University. Graduating nurses will then take the Nightingale Pledge, named in honor of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing, and pledge their service to the high ideals of the nursing profession.
