SON Research Showcase 2026

On April 29, the GW School of Nursing hosted its annual Student Research Showcase, spotlighting the innovative work of nursing students across the school. The virtual event featured 14 presentations divided into two sessions, with faculty experts serving as judges to evaluate each student's work from a theoretical framework through analysis and presentation.

Sincere thanks go to the faculty judges who gave their time and expertise to evaluate this year's presentations: Drs. Rashida Charles, Adriana Glenn, Cameron Hogg, Daisy Le, Sherrie Wallington, and Karen Whitt.

The showcase demonstrated the breadth and depth of inquiry that GW Nursing students bring to some of the most pressing challenges in healthcare. From maternal and infant health to workforce innovation and nursing policy, this year's presentations reflected a shared commitment to improving outcomes for diverse and underserved populations.

Top honors went to Doctor of Nursing Practice students, reflecting the exceptional caliber of scholarship in the program.
