The School of Nursing was awarded a $600,000 grant from the Helene Fuld Health Trust, the nation’s largest funder devoted exclusively to nursing students and nursing education, to support scholarships for students in the Accelerated B.S.N Program. The award provides a combination of funds for an endowment for scholarships along with three years of current-use scholarship support.
This is the second time that GW Nursing has been a recipient of the Fuld Health Trust’s generosity. In 2014, the School received a $650,000 grant disbursed over a three-year period for both endowed and current-use scholarships. Thanks to the endowed portion of those funds along with the most recent grant, we will be able to continue to offer Helene Fuld Health Trust Scholarships to our nursing students for many years to come.
