2022 Age-Friendly Ecosystem Summit
The George Washington University's Center for Aging, Health and Humanities is hosting the second annual Age-Friendly Ecosystem Summit virtually on November 9th, 2022 from 9am-5pm EST. This free regional collaborative event will be held in partnership with Age-Friendly Alexandria, Arlington, DC, Howard County, Hyattsville, Montgomery County, and the Georgetown University Aging & Health Program.
This year, we would like to extend an invitation to all of you in our age-friendly community to share the great work you are doing. Please make plans to join us for any or all sessions, as your schedule allows.
Agenda
This year, the Summit format will be structured as 2-hour blocks around 4 domains. The domains for each session are:
- 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.: Transportation
- 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.: Housing
- 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.: Long-term Care Workforce and Health Systems
- 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.: Emergency Preparedness and Resilience

This year, we would like to invite you to share an innovative, successful, and replicable Age-Friendly initiative you are working on to be listed in our Regional Age-Friendly Resource Guide.
