The George Washington University School of Nursing established the Phi Epsilon chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society to support students, alumni and nursing leaders. Phi Epsilon facilitates professional development through collaboration, education and development and dissemination of knowledge.
As a virtual chapter, our meetings and events are held online to allow people to join from anywhere. Our strength and success are rooted in our student and alumni members, and we look forward to welcoming nursing students and leaders into our community.
Applying to Sigma Theta Tau
Undergraduate and graduate students who demonstrate academic excellence are invited to join during their last year of school. Criteria include a 3.5 cumulative GPA and endorsement by the faculty. Nursing professionals who did not join as students can apply to Sigma Theta Tau as a Nurse Leader candidate.
Phi Epsilon Chapter Events
The Phi Epsilon chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International hosts a variety of different events throughout the year.
