Immersive Learning Symposium

Immersive Learning: Scalable, Comprehensive, and Effective

Immersive learning is critical to the future of healthcare, public safety, and national defense. It enables nurses, doctors, firefighters, police, and other first responders to learn using realistic scenarios to enhance critical thinking, adaptability, and teamwork. These skills are essential for handling complex, high-stakes situations effectively.

Investing in immersive learning gives organizations an opportunity to train and educate in a way that increases competence and confidence, ultimately improving community safety and patient outcomes.

11:30 AM - Presentation: Applying Immersive Learning Techniques to Micro-Learning

Culture Coach International

Kari Heistad, CEO of Culture Coach International

Immersive learning brings the learner into the educational environment, engaging them in the learning process in a way that helps them to both gain and retain knowledge.  Immersion begins with interaction between the learner and the experience.

Culture Coach is using the Orchestrate platform to create curated and immersive micro-learning experiences, precisely designed to provide interactions in different ways.  These learning paths engage the participant throughout a structured learning experience.  This drives specific learning outcomes and action steps for how to apply the knowledge presented.

We will be sharing the foundations of micro-learning and the process of using structured learning paths on Orchestrate to create 5-minute learning experiences.
